Choosing a nursery or pre-school for your child is a difficult choice in the best of circumstances.
Making this decision is even tougher when you’ve just moved to a new country. Given Qatar’s diverse expatriate population, you should be able to find nurseries and pre-schools that follow the educational principles that are adhered to in your home country. From British and French nurseries to curriculum-driven nurseries that follow the Montessori, EYFS or alternative frameworks, there are a number of options to choose from. To help you make a decision, we’ve created a list of some of Qatar’s most notable nurseries and playschools. Waiting lists for nurseries can be long in Qatar, so, if possible, start the application process as far in advance of your arrival as you can.
Make sure the nurseries are approved by the Supreme Education Council.
